When listening to really good drum and bass music, there are undeniably awesome qualities to it that are often quite symphonic.  Our modern age is a mass clutter of sounds, most of which originate from an electronic source.  Maybe that’s why I enjoy electronica so very much.

The moment I heard ‘Berlin’ I was totally captivated.  The slow droning bassline reminds me of monotonous machinery while the pistol hammer cocking insists that it won’t be long before something changes.  It’s a dark and powerful set of sounds.  Maybe the LoadStar fellas had some Orwell on the brain, or are just fed up with things like the rest of us.  The spoken sample intermixed with the lighter, higher end of the track further polarizes the track between hope and anger.  Really want to rock this in my car, too bad I popped my sub.

Maybe I’ll leave this on repeat for a while.  I like.
