Street Urchin Car Crime Update
So we now a conclusion to the sorted tale that was my A4 being so mercilessly… broken into.
I received a call from a very nice woman named Nicole from the San Francisco DA’s office. She told me in a rather apologetic manner that The People would not be pursuing a case against Mr. Julius Zah. Regardless of the evidence against him (possession of my stolen property, security camera footage and even being in possession of the jacket from the security camera) it was still not enough of a solid case. She mentioned more than once that in a city as liberal as SF, if there’s any shadow of a doubt in the slightest, often times cases like this aren’t pursued. She did say that it was pretty incredible how I was able to find + detain the guy and was hoping for a better conclusion to the story.
Eh, that’ll happen. I get it. However, there is some good news. As good ole Julius was arrested and charges were brought up (regardless that he’s not standing trial to face them) the arrest and whatnot still appears on his record. So, he’s been tagged for it which in my book counts as a win.
Guess what friends? Crime. Does. Pay. Well, at least in SF.
